Writers love a good quote. What classifies as “good” may differ between individuals, but most would agree that it should be witty and memorable. That being said, here are a few of my favorite quips:
“It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.”
“When I die, I want to go peacefully like my grandfather did–in his sleep. Not yelling and screaming like the passengers in his car.”

When you are courting a nice girl an hour seems like a second. When you sit on a red-hot cinder a second seems like an hour. That’s relativity.
